MASSIVE FRESH INVESTMENT IN KETTERING GENERAL HOSPITAL
HM Government has reconfirmed to Kettering MP Philip Hollobone that KGH’s place in the national New Hospitals Programme is secured with a £400m+ fully-funded, redeveloped, improved and expanded hospital due on the existing site by 2030.
With main construction due to start on schedule in 2028, initial early enabling works are already under way and the construction of a £34m net zero new energy plant for the expanded hospital is due to start in spring 2024. The larger hospital will include a new urgent care hub to replace and enhance the existing A&E.
Kettering MP Philip Hollobone has been tirelessly pursuing this extra funding and is working closely with KGH itself to ensure the development proceeds as quickly as possible.
